The Impact of Digital Curriculum Resources on Students'Mathematics Learning:The Case of Teaching"Graphs and Properties of Quadratic Functions"
Mathematics curriculum resources are instruments for promoting the reform of mathematics classroom teaching and learning. With the rapid development of modern information technology, the development, use and research of digital curriculum resources are receiving more and more attention from mathematics education researchers and front-line teachers.Taking the graphs and properties of quadratic functions in junior high school as an example, this study used classroom observation and document analysis methods to investigate whether the multiple representations provided by digital curriculum resources can help students understand the images and properties of quadratic functions, and then preliminarily explore the impact of digital curriculum resources on students'learning. The results showed that digital curriculum resources not only provide multiple representations of quadratic functions, but also help students establish connections between different multivariate representations, promoting students'understanding of the images and properties of quadratic functions. The autonomous operations provided by digital curriculum resources can enhance students'interaction with textbooks;the open question scenarios created by digital curriculum resources can better meet the needs of different students;the dynamic representation presented by digital curriculum resources can promote students'mathematical understanding.
