The Empirical Analysis on the National Teaching Awards for Higher Mathematics Education
Teaching reform in higher education is an important way to improve the quality of university development and talent training.Descriptive statistics and text content analysis of 136 national teaching awards in mathematics field found that the award level and number of China's higher mathematics education are quite impressive,the cooperation of more than 5 teachers has become the main way to complete the projects,deans and professional teachers participate are widely involved,and the research topics respond to the major concerns of the country.However,there are still some problems:the distribution of award-winning regions,provinces and universities is unbalanced;cross-unit,cross-provincial and cross-regional cooperation is relatively small,and international cooperation is even more lacking;insufficient attention has been paid to some key fields such as the development of mathematical disciplines and professional construction.In the future,the teaching reform of higher mathematics education should carry out precise support to promote balanced development,encourage multi-party cooperation to promote collaborative education;adhere to morality education and implement curriculum ideological and political education;and highlight problem orientation and respond to contemporary questions.
