Understanding and Applying Jean Piaget's Constructivist Theory in Mathematics Teaching
Constructivism is not only the core of Jean Piaget's genetic epistemology,but also the main theoretical basis of modern constructivist teaching.It has exerted an important influence on the development of Constructivist teaching thoughts and international education reform.Its theory explains from a psychological perspective that"repetition"with changes can promote cognitive development and effectively promote students'mathematics learning.On the basis of elaborating on the balance mechanism,introspection and other relevant contents,this paper studies a relationship framework diagram between introspection and abstract categories,the application path in mathematics teaching,and the inspiration of Piaget's constructivist theory on current mathematics teaching:Mathematics teaching should pay attention to process education,combine abstract experience with abstract reflection in the process of mathematics teaching,follow the stage of thinking development,and attach importance to the cultivation of students'critical thinking ability in mathematics teaching.
