Theoretical and Practical Exploration of Studies on Ethnic Minority Mathematics Education in China——Review of the 2023 Annual Conference of Mathematics Education Committee of Chinese Minority Education Association
Mathematics education of Chinese ethnic minority is an important part of education in China.In recent years,the research on mathematics education of Chinese ethnic minority has received more and more attention and recognition from scholars,and has been actively explored in the field of mathematics education of ethnic minority,writing a new chapter in the research and development of Chinese minority mathematics education.The 2023 Annual Conference of Mathematics Education Committee of Chinese Minority Education Association,held from Nov,8th to 10th,2023 in Nanning,Guangxi.The conference has 10 conference reports and 59 sub-group reports.The conference mainly focused on the mathematics curriculum and teaching of ethnic minority,the mathematics learning of ethnic minority students,the education of ethnic minority mathematics teachers,the mathematics culture of ethnic minorities,which reflects the development results of mathematics education for ethnic minorities in China in recent years.As the conference is conducive to promoting the studies on ethnic minority mathematics education in China to move towards a new era,it is also embarking on a new journey,and realizing the high-quality development of ethnic minority education.
