Diversity and Spatial Distribution of Mammals of Baiyong Nature Reserve in Yangchun of Guangdong Province
From March 2022 to December 2020,infrared camera technology was used to investigate mammal species diversity in Baiyong Nature Reserve in Yangchun of Guangdong Province.During a total of 6572 effective camera days,a total of 446 groups of effective photos and video data were cap-tured,with 8 species of terrestrial mammals recorded,belonging to 4 orders and 7 families.They are:Northern Tree Sow(Tupaia belangeri),yellow-belted weasel(Mustela kathiah),weasel badger(Melogale moschata),Paguma larvata(Prionailurus bengalensis),wild boar Muntiacus reevesi(Sus scrofa)and Callosciurus erythraeus(Callosciurus erythraeus),seven of which are national three ani-mals,and one of which is a land wildlife under the protection of Guangdong Province.
