The Diversity and Flora of Wild Plants in Yangjiang City
The method of transect survey was used to investigate the wild vascular plants in the wild plant resource concentration area of Yangjiang City.The species composition and flora characteristics were analyzed.The results showed that i)there were 2 478 species of wild vascular plants belonging to 1059 genera and 212 families in Yangjiang City,and flowering plants were mostly abundant;ii)the family composition of wild plants is dominated by a few families and a single family,and the genus composition is dominated by a small genus and a single species genus in absolute advantage,indicating that significant differentiation of families and genera;iii)from the perspective of the floristic composi-tion of the family,it is mainly distributed worldwide and in the pan tropical region.At the genus lev-el,it is mainly composed of tropical and subtropical components,with a transitional nature from tropi-cal to subtropical,while temperate components also have certain advantages;iv)the unique phenome-non of flora is prominent.Yangjiang City contains 19 families of East Asian endemic families,18 genera and 20 species of Chinese endemic genera,and 19 species of Guangdong endemic plants.In general,Yangjiang City is rich in wild vascular plants,with typical characteristics of the subtropical flora.
