Biological Characteristics and Life Cycle of Matsucoccus sinensis in Longnan City
There have been recently reports of Matsucoccus sinensis Chen infestations in Gansu Prov-ince.According to field surveys,the infestation area in the state-owned forest area of Kangxian County has reached 670 hectares,and the infestation is showing a trend of increasing year by year,po-sing a serious threat to the safety of forest resources and the achievements of ecological public welfare forest construction.Therefore,the life cycle and biological characteristics of Matsucoccus sinensis Chen in the Longnan region,aiming to provide a basis for reasonable and effective control.
