A Brief Analysis of the Effectiveness of the Tending of Artificial Black Locust Forests in Qianyang County on the Weibei Loess Plateau
To consolidate and enhance the effectiveness of forestry engineering project construction and effectively improve the productivity of forestland,Qianyang County in Shaanxi Province has actively explored based on local conditions.It has adopted artificial tending technical measures such as cutting shrubs,pruning,and felling for artificial black locust(Robinia pseudoacacia)forests.The transfor-mation and upgrading of the artificial black locust forests created by the previous round of the Grain for Green Project have yielded remarkable results.Taking the tending of artificial black locust forests in the Grain for Green Project in Qianyang County as an example,this article summarized and ana-lyzed the technical measures for tending artificial forests in the Loess Plateau region,which has cer-tain reference significance for the construction and management of forestry engineering projects.
