Ex—situ Conservation Technology of Extremely Small Population Plant Ulmus elongata
Ulmus elongata is a deciduous tree of Ulmus in Ulmaceae. It belongs to the national class Ⅱkey protected wild plants and is also one of the 120 species of extremely small population protected plants in China. This species is endemic to China, and the survival rate of natural species is low, with less than 100 adult trees in China. It is listed in the'IUCN Red List of Endangered Species'.In this study, the only 8 wild endangered species of Ulmuselongata in Zhenping County,Shaanxi Province, were researched regarding their seed collection and breeding. The endangered mechanism and ex—situ conservation technology of Ulmus elongata, which provided basic data and practical reference for the next in—depth study of this resource were discussed.
