In recent years,the rapid development of economic forestry and fruit industry,tourism,and other industries in Gannan Prefecture,especially in Diebu County,coupled with weak plant quaran-tine efforts at various levels,has created chances for alien species invasion,resulting in increasingly severe damage.The Axia Nature Reserve is also affected by this potential,and for a long time,there has been little census and statistical work conducted on baseline resources and alien invasive species,leading to a lack of update information on their species and current harm status.Since 2021,especially after the launch of a national census of alien invasive species in forest,grassland,and wetland ecosys-tems,the Axia Nature Reserve has conducted preliminary investigations and statistics on the types and harm status of alien invasive species in the reserve based on the lists issued by the national and Gansu provincial governments.Furthermore,a risk analysis was conducted based on the characteris-tics of occurrence trends.This work is of great significance for strengthening the prevention and con-trol of alien invasive species within and around the reserve and for curbing the occurrence and harm of key invasive species.
