Investigation and Strategy Research on the Germplasm Resources of Chinese Yew(Taxus chinensis)in Lueyang County
A detailed investigation of the distribution,growth,fruiting,regeneration,and other con-ditions of Chinese yew(Taxus chinensis)in 17 towns and offices across the county was conducted.Emphasis was placed on field surveys and measurements of Chinese yew in 11 towns,including Guo Town,Jinjiahe,and Wulong Cave.The aim is to provide a basis for decision-making regarding the protection,management,and utilization of wild Chinese yew resources within the county,and to es-tablish a reasonably laid out and appropriately scaled Chinese yew seedling breeding base and germ-plasm resource conservation area.This will help to achieve the goal of effectively developing and utili-zing the Chinese yew resources within the county.
