Research on the development of oil tree peony industry in Chongqing based on SWOT analysis
Oil tree peony is a unique woody oil plant of China with high oil-used,medical and ornamental values.Oil tree peony had been planted in Chongqing for a long history,which had a good foundation for development of the industry.Strengths,weakness,opportunities and threats of oil tree peony industry in Chongqing were comprehensively analyzed by SWOT model analysis in accordance with the recent development status of this industry.Close,medium and longterm development strategy,such as overall planning,cautiously promoting,accelerating the pace of scientific research and innovation,strengthening construction of scientific and technological support system;exerting own advantages of organic green food,increasing product added value,driving agricultural development with industry;seizing the opportunity,expanding exports,creating benefits with brand and technology,were proposed to provide a reference of oil tree peony industry development.
