American Experience and Its Reference for After-School Sports Serice in Primary and Secondary Schools in China Under the"Double Reduction"Policy
This paper reviews the development and practical experience of the"after school program"in the United States for more than 70 years,in order to provide references for the practice path of after-school sports service in China.It is found that there are a series of problems such as insufficient facilities,lack of teachers,single content and poor coordination mechanism in China.On the basis of American experience,this paper at-tempts to construct a home-school-community coordination mechanism for after-school sports services in China.The government plays a macro-guiding role in formulating policies,and the home,the school and the community give full play to their advantages and actively cooperate to promote the high-quality development of after-school sports services.Based on this idea,the paper puts forward the following ways to promote the home-school-com-munity cooperation,including formulating the policy of home-school-community cooperation for after-school sports,constructing the teacher staffing standards for after-school sports services,building a platform for after-school sports service among the home,the school and the community;and improving the supervision and evalua-tion system of after-school sports service project.
