Coordination of Interests in English Professional Football:Extraterritorial Experience and Insights for China
Football reform is a benchmark for China's sports reform,but at present China's professional football development is facing bottlenecks.Conflicts of interests among various parties have intensified,and how to effec-tively resolve the growing contradictions among various stakeholders in China's professional football has become an important element affecting China's football reform and reflecting the modernization of the sports governance system and governance capacity.Using the theory of collaborative governance,it is believed that the coordination mechanism of professional football interests is a governance model for balancing multiple subjects in the market,improving the channel of interest expression,sharing the interests of the subjects and reasonably compensating for them,restraining opportunistic behavior,and realizing the harmonious co-governance of multiple subjects.Spe-cifically,it includes interest expression mechanism,interest sharing mechanism,interest compensation mecha-nism and interest constraint mechanism.By analyzing the coordination mechanism of interests in English profes-sional football,the study finds that the mechanism is mainly based on diversified and optimized expression of in-terests,fair and balanced sharing of interests,precise and comprehensive compensation of interests and synergis-tically internal and external constraints of interests.Therefore,it is suggested that China's professional football needs to improve the mechanism of interest expression,rationally set up the mechanism of interest sharing,im-plement the mechanism of interest compensation and strengthen the mechanism of interest constraint.
