As a first-level discipline,the subject on history and construction of the CPC should have theories originating from and belonging to this discipline,and the theory of the subject on history and con-struction of the CPC is a compulsory second-level discipline.The holistic framework for building the autono-my of the theory of subject on history and construction of the CPC mainly includes the basic structure level and the functional operation level.The former addresses the internal components,involving ontology,episte-mology and methodology;the latter,aiming at the boundary and operation in the research process,distingui-shes the theoretical research of subject on history and construction of the CPC from the theories of adjacent disciplines such as historial theory and political science theory.As an independent discipline,the theory of the subject on history and construction of the CPC should neither be attached to theories,transplanted,nor generalized,but finalized based on the organic linkage,mutual support,and common development between theory and practice.The theory of the subject on history and construction of the CPC can not only promote the construction of the discipline,but also solve the special challenges that a large party like the CPC faces and serve the CPC's governance.
