Initiating the Societal Imagination of the Internet of Everything in Gaia:Based on Latour's Ecological Ethics
The term"Internet of Everything"( IoE ) refers to the intricate connection between the physical world and human life through IoE technologies. In this context, entities are not just products of human modification but become relational, forming the core of society. This shift raises questions about how the physical world operates, the impacts of IoE,and its future trends. Using Bruno Latour's insights on the ethical relationship between humans and entities, and his emphasis on a diverse ecological society,IoE can be seen as a new societal form. Applying a methodology rooted in social imagination, this perspective helps address these research questions. Entities,as active agents, not only result from societal structures but actively contribute to shaping society. Living in harmony with entities requires a responsible ethical relationship, achieved through mutual listening and responsive transformations. In the evolution of collective intelligence, this approach aims to build a well-ordered interaction for the development of a new ecological civilization.
