Forgotten or Remerbered:Multidimensional Introspection &Reflection on the Right to be Forgotten
The big data has brought the mankind into an era of ever-lasting memory which is the social normal condition,and made the amnesia be exceptional. Though to memorize everything signifies technological development,mankind's success & excellence,meanwhile it caused latent danger & anxiety such as the decline of privacy protection. To curb this risk,EU attempted to remove the internet memory by means of right to be forgotten and to counteract the erosion of civil right arising from permanent memory. EU's relevant legislation and practice provided new hope of the revival for privacy protection. The ideal right to be forgotten looks nice,but practically it deviates from the mainstream demands of the development in the digital age,and strongly lacks operability.
