人工智能对工业绿色低碳发展的影响研究

在新质生产力背景下,人工智能已成为引领工业高质量发展的新动能.基于2011—2021年中国内地省级面板数据,实证考察人工智能对工业绿色低碳发展的影响,可以发现:第一,人工智能的发展显著降低了工业碳排放强度,同时显著提升工业绿色全要素生产率,在考虑内生性偏误后,该结论仍然成立;第二,人工智能对工业绿色低碳发展的影响呈现出西部地区最强、东部地区最弱的区域异质性特征;第三,人工智能通过绿色创新效应、效率提升效应和结构调整效应,满足了新质生产力的催生条件,有助于促进工业绿色低碳发展;第四,经济发展水平、城镇化水平、居民受教育程度和研发投入强度等外部环境变量能够正向调节人工智能对工业绿色低碳发展的影响.为此,应该采取以下措施:着力提升各地人工智能发展水平,激发人工智能的工业绿色低碳发展红利;畅通多渠道对"智能化+绿色化"融合的支持作用,加快形成新质生产力;重视外部环境因素的调节作用,最大限度地释放人工智能的节能降碳潜能.
Study on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Industrial Green and Low-Carbon Development
In the context of new quality productivity,artificial intelligence has become a new driving force leading the high-quality development of industry. The findings are as follows:Firstly,the development of artificial intelligence significantly reduces industrial carbon emission intensity and significantly improves industrial green total factor productivity. This conclusion is still valid after considering endogenous bias;Secondly,the influence of artificial intelligence on industrial green and low-carbon development shows the regional heterogeneity characteristics of the strongest in the western region and the weakest in the eastern region. Thirdly,through the effect of green innovation,efficiency improvement and structural adjustment,artificial intelligence meets the conditions for the birth of new quality productivity,thus helping to promote the green and low-carbon development of industry;Finally,external environmental variables such as economic development level,urbanization level,residents' education level and R&D investment intensity can positively regulate the impact of AI on industrial green and low-carbon development. To this end,the following measures should be taken:efforts should be made to improve the development level of artificial intelligence everywhere,and stimulate the industrial green and low-carbon development dividend of artificial intelligence;Smooth multi-channel support for the integration of"intelligent+green"and accelerate the formation of new quality productivity;Pay attention to the regulatory role of external environmental factors,and maximize the energy saving and carbon reduction potential of artificial intelligence.
