Isolation and identification of Staphylococcus aureus by three methods
By participating in the NIFDC-PT-451 Staphylococcus aureus detection capability validation program organized by National Institutes for Food and Drug Control in 2023,three rapid isolation and identification methods for Staphylococcus aureus were adopted, which improved the efficiency of inspection and detection compared with national standard methods. The methods used were national standard method, fully automated enzyme-linked immunofluorescence analyzer method, and real-time fluorescence PCR detection method for the detection of Staphylococcus aureus in randomly artificially contaminated samples TC04510042 and TC04510204.Staphylococcus aureus was detected in both TC04510042 and TC04510204,and the results of the three methods were consistent. The use of national standard method for Staphylococcus aureus, combined with automatic enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and real-time fluorescence PCR detection, not only reduces the false positive rate but also shortens the detection time. The latter two methods can be used as pre screening and emergency testing for a large number of samples, and the positive samples appearing in the screening can be confirmed using the national standard method, which improves the efficiency of testing.
