This article introduces the construction technology of Gebin gabion in the comprehensive regulation project of Yuhe River,analyzes its technical characteristics and ecological functions.Practice has proven that the application of this technology for natural transformation of rivers is an important measure to change the traditional approach to river management and address prominent ecological issues such as river whitening,hardening,and pollution control.It should be vigorously promoted.
