Research on the Coordination Relationship between Industrial Water Use and Industrial Development layout in Shanxi Province
Water resources allocation is an important constraint for industrial structure optimization.The coordination relationship between industrial water use and industrial development layout is the key to improving the efficiency of water resources utilization and optimizing the transformation and upgrade of industrial structure in Shanxi province.In this paper,by using the correlation analysis theory and scenario analysis,through the measurement of correlation coefficient,it is found that the secondary and tertiary industries are significantly positively correlated with water abstraction.The relationships between water use efficiency and added value in industry sector,water use efficiency and added value in service sector and water use efficiency and regional gross domestic product under water resource constraint were analyzed.The potential improvement of water use efficiencies for each sector were predicted,and the direction of optimizing industrial structure and water use were given.It is revealed that the water efficiency of each industry should be increased by 5%to 20%to meet the industrial water demand and economic development needs.Under total water abstraction constraint,if GDP increases by the average rate of recent years,water use efficiency should improve 30%to 50%by 2030.If the increase rate is cut by half of the average rate of recent years,water use efficiency should grow by 20%to 30%in 2030.If the growth rate of GDP rises by 3%,water use efficiency should probably grow up by 50%to 60%.
