Countermeasures to Protect and Manage Plateau Surface in the Loess Plateau——A Case Study of Plateau Surface Protection in Guxian County,Pu County
The loess plateau gully area is one of the main types of soil erosion in the Loess Plateau region.The continuous soil erosion has led to a continuous reduction in the area of the plateau and an increasing density of gullies,making the ecological environment extremely fragile.Therefore,it is particularly important to carry out the comprehensive management project of"fixing gullies and protecting the plateau".This article takes the 2023 Loess Plateau Surface Protection Project in Puxian County as an example to study the problems existing in the project area,propose targeted measures,and analyze the benefits generated after project implementation.The aim is to provide practical reference for the protection of the entire Loess Plateau surface through the implementation of the Puxian Plateau Surface Protection Project.
