Aerogels is a kind of porous nanometer solid material with high porosity,low density,high specific surface area and ther-mal insulation,and it has wide application prospect in the fields of aerospace,catalysis,heat insulation,sound insulation and high energy particle detection.This paper introduced the research progress of aerogels in classification,property,preparation and appli-cation and its future development.
