Pollution Characteristics and Source Apportionment of Volatile Organic Compounds in Anqing
Based on the online monitoring data of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in Anqing from January to December 2022,this paper analyzed the pollution characteristics and source apportionment of VOCs.The results show that the average volume con-centration of VOCs in 2022 of Anqing was(18.2±8.77)×10-9,and the concentration proportion of various VOCs components was ranked as alkane(61.0%)>aromatic hydrocarbons(15.9%)>alkene(14.5%)>alkyne(8.6%);the mean volume concentration of VOCs in the ozone season was(16.3±8.32)×10-9;the VOCs volume concentration in the non-ozone season was 25.2%higher than that in the ozone season,which is related to the high temperature and strong ultraviolet radiation in the ozone season.The volume concen-tration distribution of VOCs was generally low in summer and high in winter,while the hourly bimodal changes in the morning and evening.The top 10 species of ozone formation potential(OFP)in ozone and non-ozone seasons were similar,mainly including tolu-ene,m,p-xylene,ethylene,i-pentane,propylene,o-xylene,etc.Aromatic hydrocarbons and alkene were the key components of O3 control in Anqing City.According to the PMF source analysis results,the VOCs source in the ambient air in Anqing are the motor vehicle emission sources(28.22%),industrial sources(22.89%),liquefied petroleum gas/natural gas(19.15%),solvents and coating sources(16.26%)and natural sources(13.48%)sorted from highest to lowest.The motor vehicle emission sources and industrial sources were the main sources of VOCs in the ambient air of Anqing,so it suggested to strengthen the control of motor vehicle exhaust gas and industrial emissions in Anqing City.
