Estimation and Spatial-Temporal Change Analysis of the Forest Aboveground Biomass of County Level in Karst Region:Taking Yongshan County in Yunnan Province as an Example
Accurately estimating and exploring the evolution process and trend of forest biomass in Yongshan County from 2007 to 2021 can provide methodological support for accurate estimation of county-level forest biomass,comprehensive management of rocky desertification,and ecological restoration.Based on the data from forest resources planning and design survey conducted in 2007,2012,2017,and 2021,as well as the"one-map"forest resource management data,this study calculated the forest biomass of each compartment.Utilizing spatial autocorrelation analysis,the study quantitatively analyzed the spatiotemporal evolution char-acteristics of forest aboveground biomass in Yongshan County.The results show that:(1)From 2007 to 2021,the total forest bio-mass and forest biomass per small plot area in Yongshan County showed an increasing trend,increasing by 3.47×106 t and 5.39 t/hm2,respectively.The township with the least increase in total forest biomass was Wuzhai Town,and the one with the most in-crease was Xiluodu Town,with increases of 9.97×104 t and 8.45×105 t,respectively.(2)From 2007 to 2021,the area of forest land with biomass ranging from 15~30 t/hm2 and>60 t/hm2 in Yongshan County increased by 4 770.48 hm2 and 15 318.75 hm2,respec-tively.(3)The forest biomass in Yongshan County showed an aggregated state in adjacent spatial units,and the spatial heterogene-ity of regional forest biomass was significant.The overall trend of forest biomass in Yongshan County is increasing,with a large spa-tial uplift,indicating room for improvement and enhancement in ecological restoration and forest management in some townships.
