摘要

戴东原虽然反对朱子,但非如方东树所以为的,戴东原是"万禁言理",是"蔑理".在胡适看来,戴东原是理学的嫡传,也是程朱的诤友.只是,戴东原不能同意朱子将"理"看作"如有物焉,得于天而具于心",也不妄求明善以复其初,一旦豁然贯通的大彻大悟.戴东原所认为的理,是事物的条理、分理,是多元的,并没有"浑然一体而散为万事"的天理.在颜李实学与顾炎武新经学的基础上,产生了戴东原的新哲学,胡适称之为"新理学".

Abstract

Although Dai Zhen disagrees with ZHU Xi,he does not"forbid li absolutely"or"despises it"as FANG Dong-shu claims.In HU Shih's view,Dai Dongyuan was a successor of philosophy of li and a faithful follower of the Cheng-Zhu School.However,Dai could not agree with Zhu's view that"reason"like"something to be done,which is from the heaven and stays in the mind",nor did he vainly seek clarity and goodness to restore the original one and suddenly get the great understanding.The li in Dai's view is the orderliness and interstitial grains of things,which is pluralistic,and there is no heavenly li that integrates as a whole while scatters into everything.On the basis of Yan-Li's Practical Learning and Gu Yanwu's New Classical Learning,Dai's new philosophy was born,which Hu Shih named"New Philosophy of Li".
