Traditional Chinese medicine thinking,as a hot topic in the field of modern Chinese medicine,is widely used,but there is a lack of reflection and clear definition of related concepts.The author proposes that traditional Chinese medicine thinking refers to the use of certain thinking tools to understand the world and human life activities,construct traditional Chinese medicine theory,and carry out clinical diagnosis and treatment practice guided by traditional Chinese philosophy.The traditional Chinese medicine thinking method refers to the means,methods,and approaches of understanding the world and human life activities,constructing traditional Chinese medicine theory,and carrying out clinical practice activities guided by Chinese traditional philosophy.From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine thinking methods,the traditional Chinese medicine clinical thinking method that applies traditional Chinese medicine theoretical knowledge to solve clinical problems can be called traditional Chinese medicine original thinking.Clarifying the connotation and extension of relevant concepts is a necessary prerequisite for conducting scientific research on traditional Chinese medicine thinking.
