Characteristics of the"General Treatment"Method and Prescription Drugs in Xin'an Medical Epidemic Prevention
Starting from the important school of traditional Chinese medicine in Xin'an,this paper summarizes the development of epidemic diseases in ancient Huizhou,focusing on the"Tongzhi"ideas contained in Xin'an medical experts and treatises.From individuality,it explores commonalities and summarizes the four significant characteristics of Xin'an medicine's comprehensive treatment of epidemic diseases:eliminating evil,detoxifying,supporting the body,and purging.It lists five representative formulas and their compatibility characteristics,including Xinzhi Jiuyi decoction,Zhiyi Qingliang powder,Taiwu Shenzhu powder,Ziwu Nian Epidemic Initial Main Formula,and Plague decoction,in order to open up effective new ideas and methods for clinical epidemic treatment.
