With the popularization of chest CT in physical examinations,the detection rate of ground glass nodules(GGN)in the lungs is increasing.They have a certain proportion of malignant probability and can easily cause panic in patients,which deserves clinical attention.At present,Western medicine only conducts follow-up observations on pulmonary GGN without surgical indications,while Chinese medicine has insufficient research on pulmonary GGN and has not formed a unified understanding.The author found through literature review and clinical practice that the pathological characteristics of GGN are mainly characterized by a mixture of deficiency phlegm,blood stasis,and toxin.Based on the discussion of deficiency,phlegm,blood stasis,and toxin,the author hopes to provide some ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of GGN in the lungs.
