Optimization of Total Flavonoids Extraction Process from Compound Herb King Tea by Orthogonal Experimental Method
Objective To explore the optimal extraction process of total flavonoids in Compound Herb King Tea.Methods Using the content of total flavonoids as the indicator,a combination of single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments were conducted.Water was used as the solvent for reflux extraction, and L9(34)orthogonal experiment was applied to investigate the effects of medicinal material compatibility ratio,solid-liquid ratio, extraction time, and extraction times on the extraction rate of total flavonoids. Results The main and secondary factors affecting the extraction conditions of total flavonoids in Compound Herb King Tea are as follows:D extraction times>A medicinal herb ratio>B solid-liquid ratio>C extraction time. The optimized optimal extraction process is a 2∶1 ratio of Compound Herb King Tea to peppermint,a solid-liquid ratio of 1∶8,and reflux extraction for 3 times, each time for 60 minutes. Conclusion The optimal extraction process conditions for total flavonoids in Compound Herb King Tea obtained through orthogonal design experiment are stable, reliable, simple, with high total flavonoid yield and feasible method, providing experimental basis for the development and application of Compound Herb King Tea.
