Expression of OGDHL and FHL1 in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer and Its Clinical Significance
Objective To explore the expression levels and clinical significance of OGDHL and four half-LIM domain protein 1(FHL1)in non-small cell lung cancer tissues.Methods The cancer tissue specimens and paracancerous tissue speci-mens(4 cm from the tumor edge)of 80 cases with non-small cell lung cancer were selected,and then immunohistochemical stai-ning was used to detect the expression levels of OGDHL and FHL1 in all specimens.The x2 test was used to analyze the relation-ship between the expression of OGDHL,FHL1 and the pathological characteristics of cases with non-small cell lung cancer,and the Kaplan-Meier survival curve was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of OGDHL and FHL1 and the prog-nosis of cases,and multivariate Cox regression model was used to analyze the influence factors of the prognosis of cases with non-small cell lung cancer.Results The high expression rate of OGDHL in cancer tissue of cases with non-small cell lung cancer was lower than that in adjacent tissue(35.00%vs62.50%,P<0.05),and the high expression rate of FHL1 was higher than that in adjacent tissue(67.50%vs 40.00%,P<0.05).The expression levels of OGDHL and FHL1 were closely related to the TNM stage,lymph node metastasis and differentiation degree of cases with non-small cell lung cancer(P<0.05).The5-year overall survival rate of cases with high OGDHL expression after operation was82.14%,and the5-year overall survival rate of cases with low expression of OGDHL after operation was 36.54%(P<0.05).The 5-year overall survival rate of cases with high OGDHL ex-pression was40.74%,and the5-year overall survival rate of the patients with low expression after operation was 76.92%(P<0.05).TNM stage,lymph node metastasis,degree of differentiation,OGDHL expression and FHL1 expression were closely related to the prognosis of patients with non-small cell lung(P<0.05).TNM stage Ⅲ,lymph node metastasis,poor differentiation,low expression of OGDHL and high expression of FHL1 were independent risk factors for the prognosis of cases with non-small cell lung cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of OGDHL protein in the cancer tissue of cases with non-small cell lung cancer is low,and the expression of FHL1 protein is high.The expression levels of the 2 are closely related to the clinicopathologi-cal characteristics and prognosis of cases with non-small cell lung cancer.They can be used as effective indicators for evaluating the prognosis of cases.
