Study on the Effect of Spiral Suture of Fat Layer Combined with Closed Continuous Neg-ative Pressure Drainage on Reducing the Adverse Events of Abdominal Incision Healing in Patients with Gynecological Tumors
Objective To study the effect of spiral suture of the fat layer combined with closed continuous negative pres-sure drainage on the healing of abdominal incisions in patients with gynecological malignancies. Methods A retrospective analy-sis of 154 obese gynecological tumor surgery patients were conducted.66 patients in the experimental group were treated with spi-ral suture of the incision fat layer combined with continuous closed negative pressure drainage, and 88 in the control group were treated with traditional intermittent full-thickness suture or intermittent fat suture;the age, body mass index(BMI),Incision length and incision healing. Results There was no difference in general conditions such as age, body mass index(BMI),and comorbidi-ties between the 2 groups(P≥0.05).The grade A healing rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. The incision infection rate, incision fat liquefaction rate and the incision healing time was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the traditional suture method, the spiral suture combined with closed continuous negative pressure drainage method can help reduce the fat liquefaction of the incision in obese patients with gynecological surgery, reduce the infection of the abdominal incision, shorten the incision healing time, and re-duce the number of hospitalization days.
