Expression and Clinical Significance of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 in Non-small Cell Lung Tissue
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 in serum and lung cancer tissues of patients with non small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods 98 cases of NSCLC were included in the observa-tion group, and 40 cases of benign lung lesions were included in the control group. The expression of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 in serum and lung cancer tissues of the 2 groups were analyzed. Results The serum IGF-1 level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the serum IGFBP-3 level was lower than that in the control group,P<0.05.Serum IGF-1 and IG-FBP-3 levels were correlated with TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and local invasion(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the positive expression rate of IGFBP-3 was significantly lower than that in the control group,P<0.05.The positive expression rates of IGF-1 and IG-FBP-3 were correlated with TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and local invasion(P<0.05).The AUC of serum IGF-1 for the di-agnosis of NSCLC was 0.733,the sensitivity was 55.5%,the specificity was 91.2%,and the best cutoff value was 150.26 μg/L.The AUC of serum IGFBP-3 in the diagnosis of NSCLC was 0.799,the sensitivity was 63.6%,the specificity was 78.6%,and the best cutoff value was 1413.54 μg/L.Conclusion Serum IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 in patients with NSCLC are mainly related to TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and local invasion, and serum IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 levels can be used as auxiliary diagnostic means for NSCLC.
