Evaluation Value of Serum NLR,CEA,AFP and CA125 on Gastric Cancer with Peritoneal Metastasis
Objective To investigate and analyze the evaluated value of serum neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and serum tumor markers of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)and carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)on gas-tric cancer with peritoneal metastasis, and to provide evidence for evaluating peritoneal metastasis in patients with gastric cancer. Methods 85 patients with gastric cancer were collected and divided into non-metastasis group(n =50)and metastasis group(n =35)according to whether peritoneal metastasis occurred.Serum levels of NLR,CEA,AFP and CA125 were detected, and the survival prognosis was compared between the 2 groups, and the relationship between the above factors and peritoneal metastasis and survival prognosis of gastric cancer was explored. Results Serum levels of NLR,CEA,AFP and CA125 in metastasis group were significantly higher than those in non-metastasis group(t =5.371,1.001,3.613,3.619,P<0.05),and serum NLR,CEA,AFP and CA125 levels in patients with gastric cancer and peritoneal metastasis were positively correlated with each other(P<0.05).Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis revealed that among NLR,CEA,AFP and CA125,CA125 had the highest efficiency on predicting poor prognosis in patients with gastric cancer complicated with peritoneal metastasis. When the Youden index of CA125 was maximum, the corresponding cut-off value, area under the curve(AUC),sensitivity and specificity for predicting poor prognosis were 47.07 U/ml,0.920,80.00%and 93.33%respectively.Conclusion Serum NLR,CEA,AFP and CA125 are significantly abnormally up-regulated in patients with gastric cancer complicated with peritoneal metastasis, and they are related to survival prognosis of patients. It is possible to evaluate peritoneal metastasis and prognosis of gastric cancer by moni-toring the above factors.
