Expression of miR-29c and miR-195 in Multiple Myeloma and Their Relationship with Clinicopathological Characteristics and Prognosis
Objective To investigate the expression of miR-29c and miR-195 in multiple myeloma(MM)and their rela-tionship with clinicopathological features and prognosis. Methods 75 patients with MM were selected as the case group, and 75 patients with non-hematological diseases with normal bone marrow imaging were selected as the control group.Detection of miR-29c and miR-195 expression in bone marrow tissue tissues by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR(q-PCR).MiR-29c and miR-195 were divided into high level group and low level group according to the average value of detection.Analysis of the correlation between miR-29c,miR-195 expression levels and clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis. Results The expression levels of miR-29c and miR-195 in bone marrow tissues of the case group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The pro-portion of patients with ISS stage Ⅲand serum albumin level<35 g/L in the low level group of miR-29c was higher than that in the high level group(P<0.05).The proportion of patients with ISS stage Ⅲ and serum albumin level<35g/L in the low level group of miR-195 was higher than that in the high level group(P<0.05).The survival time of the low level group of miR-29c was lower than that of the high level group(P<0.05),and the survival time of the low level group of miR-195 was lower than that of the high level group(P<0.05).The expression level of miR-29c and miR-195 was negatively correlated with ISS Ⅲ(P<0.05),and positively correlated with serum albumin and survival(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of miR-29c and miR-195 is low in bone marrow tissue of MM patients, and the survival period of patients with low expression of miR-29c and miR-195 is short. The expression levels of miR-29c and miR-195 are positively correlated with ISSⅢ,and negatively correlated with serum albumin and survival period.
