Application of Mimics 3D Reconstruction in Thoracoscopic Bronchogenic Cyst Resection
Objective To analyze the effect of Mimics software on thoracoscopic bronchogenic cyst resection. Methods 60 patients with bronchogenic cysts treated by single operating-hole video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery were collected and divid-ed into preoperative planning group(40 cases)and unplanning group(20 cases)according to whether Mimics software was used for preoperative 3D reconstruction planning. The operative effect and postoperative complication rate of the 2 groups were compared. Results Incision location and incision length in the planning group were more accurate than those in the non-planning group. The operation time of the planning group was(106.50±28.15)min,the retention time of postoperative chest tube was(3.91±0.84)d,and the postoperative hospital stay was(8.50±1.04)d,which were all shorter than those of the non-planning group(147.32±24.42)min,(5.43±0.63)d,(9.97±1.63)d.Intraoperative blood loss(50.42±25.62)ml and total thoracic drain-age volume(386.17±119.23)ml in the planning group were less than those in the non-planning group(91.64±24.18)ml and(647.25±203.47)ml.The incidence of postoperative complications in the planning group was lower than that in the non-plan-ning group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Preoperative planning and application of Mimics 3D reconstruction technology can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of thoracoscopic bronchogenic cyst resection with single operating hole, which is worthy of clinical application.
