Correlation Between the Expression of CD147 and Survivin in Thyroid Carcinoma and Postoperative Lymph Node Metastasis
Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of leukocyte differentiation antigen 147(CD147)and survivin in thyroid carcinoma and postoperative lymph node metastasis. Methods 82 patients with thyroid cancer were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent surgical treatment.Tumor specimens and normal tissue specimens adja-cent to the cancer were collected for immunohistochemical detection, and the positive expressions of CD147 and survivin in tumor specimens and normal tissue specimens adjacent to the cancer were compared; The patients were followed up for 1 year to record the lymph node metastasis of the 2 groups. They were divided into 2 groups according to whether the lymph node was metastatic or not.The data of age, sex, tumor stage, body mass index,CD147 expression, survivin expression, tumor diameter and other aspects of the 2 groups were collected.Single factor and logistic regression analysis were carried out to obtain the high-risk factors affect-ing the postoperative lymph node metastasis of thyroid cancer patients. Results The positive rates of CD147 and survivin in tumor specimens were73.17%and 79.27%,which were higher than those in normal adjacent tissues(P<0.05);82 patients were followed up for 1 year,30 patients had lymph node metastasis,52 patients had no lymph node metastasis; There were signifi-cant differences in tumor stage,CD147 expression and survivin expression between the 2 groups(P<0.05);Multivariate analysis showed that tumor stage Ⅲ,positive expression of CD147 and survivin were the high risk factors for postoperative lymph node me-tastasis of thyroid cancer(P<0.05 and OR>1).Conclusion CD147 and survivin have high positive expression in thyroid car-cinoma,and their positive expression is a high risk factor for postoperative lymph node metastasis. The detection should be carried out early to identify the risk factors as early as possible to reduce the risk of postoperative lymph node metastasis.
