Expression of Leukocyte Differentiation Antigen 147 and Survivin in Thyroid Cancer Tis-sue and Their Correlation with Postoperative Lymph Node Metastasis
Objective To analyze the expression of leukocyte differentiation antigen 147(CD147)and survivin in thy-roid cancer tissue and their correlation with postoperative lymph node metastasis. Methods 64 thyroid cancer patients who un-derwent surgical treatment were selected as the research subjects. After follow-up of 6 months, the patients were divided into 2 groups based on whether lymph node metastasis occurred after surgery.15 patients with lymph node metastasis were classified as the metastasis group, and 49 patients without metastasis were classified as the non metastasis group.Immunohistochemical method was used to measure the expression of CD147 and Survivin in the 2 groups;Analyze the correlation between the expression of CD147,Survivin and lymph node metastasis using Pearson correlation analysis. Results The positive expression rates of CD147 and Survivin in the metastatic group[66.67%(10/15),73.33%(11/15)]were higher than those in the non metastatic group[36.76%(18/49),40.82%(20/49)],with statistical differences(P<0.05);Pearson correlation results showed that the ex-pression of CD147 and Survivin was positively correlated with postoperative lymph node metastasis in thyroid cancer patients(γ = 0.462,0.510,P =0.000,0.000).Conclusion CD147 and Survivin are involved in the occurrence and development of thyroid cancer, and their expression is positively correlated with postoperative lymph node metastasis in patients. They are overexpressed in the body of patients with lymph node metastasis, and this situation needs to be highly valued in clinical practice.
