The Expression of CREPT in Renal Cell Carcinoma Tissue and Its Impact on Prognosis
Objective To investigate the expression of tumor highly expressed cell cycle associated protein(CREPT)in renal cell carcinoma tissue and its impact on prognosis of patients. Methods 68 patients with renal cell carcinoma were selected as the research subjects.During surgery, the cancer tissue and adjacent normal tissue were taken, and the differences in CREPT expression between the 2 types of cell tissues were detected using immunohistochemistry.Data such as age and gender of the pa-tients were collected to analyze the relationship between CREPT expression and clinical pathological characteristics of renal cell carcinoma patients.Followed up for another 3 years to analyze the relationship between CREPT expression and prognosis of renal cell carcinoma patients. Results The high expression rate of CREPT in cancer tissue was higher than that in normal tissue adja-cent to cancer, with a statistical difference(P<0.05);The expression of CREPT was closely related to TNM staging and Fuhrman grading in renal cancer patients, with statistical differences(P<0.05);The 3-year survival rate of patients with high expression of CREPT in renal cell carcinoma was lower than that of patients with low expression of CREPT,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of CREPT in renal cell carcinoma tissue is highly expressed, and its expression is closely re-lated to TNM staging and Fuhrman grading of renal cell carcinoma patients. The higher the expression level of CREPT,the lower the 3-year survival rate of patients and the worse the prognosis. Therefore, clinical attention should be paid to it.
