Expression of miR-191 in Cervical Carcinoma and Its Clinical Significance
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of miR-191 in cervical cancer. Methods 75 patients with cervical cancer were selected as the study subjects, and all of them were treated with surgery. The expression of miR-191 in tumor tissues and normal tissues was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.The relationship between miR-191 expression and clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis was analyzed. Results The expression of miR-191 in tumor tissue was(1.98±0.15),which was significantly higher than that in normal tissue(0.89±0.12)(P<0.05);The expres-sion level of miR-191[(2.14±0.18),(2.09±0.17),(2.23±0.21),(2.18±0.19),(2.12±0.49),(2.25±0.22)]in cervical cancer patients with tumor size ≥ 4 cm,high-risk HPV infection, pathological grade G3,tumor stage Ⅲ,lymph node me-tastasis and myometrial invasion ≥1/2]was higher than that of tumor size<4 cm,no high-risk HPV infection, pathological grade G1~G2,tumor stage Ⅰ~Ⅱ,no lymph node metastasis The difference was statistically significant(P;Following up for 3 years,61 of 75 patients with cervical cancer survived, with a survival rate of 81.33%(61/75);The expression of miR-191 in the living pa-tients was(1.82±0.14),lower than that in the dead patients(2.49±0.22),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion miR-191 is highly expressed in cervical cancer tissue, and its expression is closely related to tumor size, pathological grade, tumor stage and lymph node metastasis. It can be used as an important indicator for early adjuvant treatment and prognosis evaluation.
