The Expression Levels and Clinical Significance of Serum miR-145,miR-200a and miR-181c in Patients with Endometrial Cancer
Objective The expression changes of miR-145,miR-200a and miR-181c in serum of patients with endome-trial cancer were observed and their clinical significance was discussed. Methods A total of 84 patients with endometrial cancer were selected as the study group, and 51 patients with uterine fibroids were selected as the control group. The expressions of miR-145,miR-200a and miR-181c in serum of the 2 groups were detected. The relationship between the expression of miR-145,miR-200a and miR-181c and clinicopathological features of patients with endometrial cancer was analyzed.Receiver operating charac-teristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of miR-145,miR-200a and miR-181c in endometrial cancer.Re-sults The levels of miR-145 and miR-181c in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of miR-200a were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The expressions of serum miR-145,miR-200a and miR-181c were correlated with clinical stage and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis results showed that the AUCs of miR-145,miR-200a and miR-181c in the diagnosis of endometrial cancer were 0.954,0.987 and 0.908.Conclusion The expres-sions of miR-145 and miR-181c in serum of patients with endometrial cancer were down-regulated,while the expressions of miR-200a were up-regulated,and all 3 were associated with lymph node metastasis and clinical stage, which may be used as auxiliary indicators for the diagnosis of endometrial cancer.
