CT and MRI Features of Primary Cardiac Angiosarcoma and Their Diagnostic Performance
Objective To analyze the CT and MRI features of primary cardiac angiosarcoma, and their diagnostic per-formance.Methods The clinical imaging data of 52 patients who were diagnosed with primary cardiac angiosarcoma by pathology were analyzed retrospectively.Pathological examination was taken as the golden standard to compare the accuracy rates of CT and MRI in detecting primary cardiac angiosarcoma. Results The accuracy rates of CT and MRI in detecting primary cardiac angio-sarcoma were 73.08%and 78.85%,without significant difference between the two(P>0.05).Among the 52 patients,CT found 26 patients with space-occupying lesions in the right atrium,7 patients with space-occupying lesions in the right ventricle,5 pa-tients with a large amount of pericardial effusion, and 14 patients without obvious abnormalities.MRI found 38 patients with space-occupying lesions in the right atrium,3 patients with space-occupying lesions in the mediastinum, and 11 patients without obvious abnormalities. Conclusion The early diagnosis and treatment of primary cardiac angiosarcoma depend on auxiliary diagnosis with various imaging techniques.CT and cardiac MRI are of certain value in the diagnosis of primary cardiac angiosarcoma, and can provide reference for early diagnosis and clinical treatment.
