Analysis of Chemotherapy Efficacy and Clinical Prognostic Factors for Limited Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer
Objective To study the clinical efficacy and prognostic factors of chemotherapy therapy in patients with lim-ited stage small cell lung cancer. Methods 90 patients with limited stage small cell lung cancer were selected as the observation subjects. All patients were treated with chemotherapy, and the clinical efficacy, survival time, and 18-month survival rate after treatment were statistically analyzed.Retrospective analysis was conducted on the patient's medical records to summarize the rele-vant factors affecting clinical prognosis. Results The total clinical effective rate was 65.56%,6-month survival rate was 66.67%,12-month survival rate was 33.33%,and 18-month survival rate was 17.78%;The incidence of bone marrow suppres-sion and gastrointestinal reactions during treatment was 24.44%and 57.78%,respectively.Single factor analysis showed that clinical prognosis was related with functional state(PS)score, smoking habits, weight loss and platelet count before treatment;Multiple regression analysis found that smoking and PS score were the main factors affecting prognosis. Conclusion Patients with limited stage small cell lung cancer receiving chemotherapy can achieve ideal clinical efficacy, and the clinical prognosis of pa-tients is closely related to factors such as weight, smoking,PS score, and pre treatment platelet count.
