Astragalus Polysaccharide Improve the Sensitivity of Radiotherapy in Cervical Cells by Promoting the Expression of yH2AX
Objective To study the effect of Astragalus polysaccharide(APS)on the proliferation of Siha cells with cer-vical cancer and the expression of phosphorylated histone H2AX(γH2AX)after radiotherapy. Methods Siha cells were cul-tured in vitro, and the 2 groups were divided into radiotherapy group and Astragalus polysaccharide combined with radiotherapy group.Cell proliferation was analyzed by CCK 8,and γH2AX expression level after radiotherapy was measured by Western blot-ting.Results The higher concentration of APS led to weaker proliferation of Siha cells; With longer period exposed of APS,the less proliferation compared with the radiotherapy group; The expression level of γH2AX in the APS combined with radiotherapy group suggested was higher than that in the radiotherapy group at 4 hours after radiotherapy. Conclusion APS can inhibit the proliferation of Siha cells, and promote the expression of γH2AX,maybe can improve the sensitivity of radiotherapy.
