Clinical Effect of Peripheral Vascular Interventional Therapy of Radial Artery on Liver Cancer
Objective To investigate the feasibility and safety of peripheral vascular intervention in patients with liver cancer via the radial artery route. Methods A total of 80 patients with liver cancer were randomly divided into the control group(40 cases)and the observation group(40 cases). The control group was given transfemoral peripheral vascular intervention, and the observation group was given transradial peripheral vascular intervention. The 2 groups were compared, including puncture time, puncture success rate, surgical success rate,hospitalization-related indexes(hospitalization expenses, hospital stay,postopera-tive hospital stay),exposure dose, exposure time, operation time and related complications. Results The puncture time, hospital stay and postoperative hospital stay in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and there were no significant differences in puncture success rate, surgical success rate, exposure dose, exposure time,hospitaliza-tion cost and operation time between the 2 groups(P>0.05).The complication rate in the observation group 2.50%was signifi-cantly lower than that in the control group 20.00%(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of peripheral vascular intervention in pa-tients with liver cancer is comparable to that of transradial artery and femoral artery, and the recovery of transradial artery is fas-ter,which is safe and feasible.
