Effect and Prognosis of PD-1/PD-L1 Inhibitors Combined with Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Advanced Cervical Cancer
Objective To analyze the effect and prognosis of programmed death 1(PD-1)/programmed death ligand 1(PD-L1)inhibitors combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced cervical cancer. Methods A total of 96 patients with advanced cervical cancer were selected as the research subjects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 48 cases in each. The control group was treated with conventional chemothera-py regimen, and the observation group was treated with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors on the basis of the control group.Curative effect was compared between the 2 groups after 6 cycles of treatment, and adverse reactions that occurred in the 2 groups within 6 cycles of treatment were analyzed statistically.Quality of life(quality of life scale for patients with cervical cancer)of the two groups of patients after 6 cycles of treatment was observed. Results After 6 cycles of treatment, clinical efficacy and effective rate of treat-ment in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Within 6 cycles of treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence rate of adverse reactions between the 2 groups(P>0.05).The scores for physical condition, living condition and extra condition and total score of the quality of life scale for patients with cervical cancer in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy has significant effect in the treatment of advanced cervical cancer, and can improve the patients'life quality.
