Evaluation of Preoperative Lymph Node Metastasis in Ovarian Cancer Using Multi-slice Spiral CT Enhanced Scanning and Multi-planar Reconstruction Technology
Objective To analyze the value of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)enhanced scanning and multi-planar recon-struction(M PR)technology in evaluating preoperative lymph node metastasis of ovarian cancer, and to provide imaging evidence for accurate preoperative staging of ovarian cancer. Methods A prospective study was conducted on 78 patients with ovarian cancer who received surgical treatment. All patients underwent enhanced MSCT scanning,MPR technology, and pathological exam-ination before surgery.Compare the detection results with the pathological examination results, the diagnostic efficacy of enhanced MSCT scanning,MPR technology alone, and combination in preoperative lymph node metastasis of ovarian cancer was analyzed. Results Through pathological examination, among 78 patients with ovarian cancer,40 had lymph node metastasis and 38 had non lymph node metastasis. The sensitivity of MSCT enhanced scan combined with MPR in the diagnosis of preoperative lymph node metastasis of ovarian cancer was higher than that of MSCT enhanced scan combined with MPR alone, with a statistical significant difference(P<0.05).There was no statistical significant difference in the accuracy and specificity of the combination of MSCT enhanced scan and MPR technology in the diagnosis of preoperative lymph node metastasis of ovarian cancer compared to the sin-gle diagnosis of MSCT enhanced scan and MPR technology(P>0.05).The consistency between the staging and pathological stag-ing of ovarian cancer diagnosed by MSCT enhanced scanning combined with MPR was high(Kappa=0.797,P<0.001).Conclu-sion MSCT enhanced scan combined with MPR has a high sensitivity in the diagnosis of preoperative lymph node metastasis in ovarian cancer, and the combined diagnosis of ovarian cancer staging results and pathological examination results have a high con-sistency.
