Application Value of Tumor Markers in Lung Cancer Examination and Diagnosis
Objective To analyze the application efficacy of tumor markers in the examination and diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods A total of 88 suspected lung cancer patients were selected as the experimental group, and 88 healthy individu-als undergoing physical examinations during the same period were chosen as the control group.Serum tumor marker detection was performed on all subjects, and the levels of tumor markers in the 2 groups were analyzed.According to the results of biopsy, the patients in the experimental group were divided into benign group(lung tumors)and malignant group(lung cancer),and the tumor marker indices were compared.Meanwhile, the detection results of single markers and combined detection were analyzed. Results The levels of various tumor markers in patients of the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the con-trol group(P<0.05).There were 46 lung malignant tumor patients, and 42 cases of benign lung tumors. The tumor marker data of patients in the malignant group were significantly higher than those in the benign group. The detection rate of combined detection was significantly higher than that of single detection, and the differences were statistically significant. However, there was no differ-ence between single markers(P>0.05).Carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),cancer antigen 125(CA1 25),neuron-specific enolase(NESE9),and cytokeratin 19 fragment 21-1(CYFRA21-1)were positively correlated, with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.859 to 0.926,indicating a high correlation. Conclusion Tumor marker testing can effectively improve the detection rate of lung cancer and differentiate between benign and malignant tumors during the diagnosis and detection of lung cancer, providing scientific data support for clinical practice.
