Comparative Analysis of Multi-slice Spiral CT Features and Pathological Features of Cystic Lung Cancer
Objective To comparatively analyze multi slice spiral CT(MSCT)features and pathological features of cyst-ic lung cancer. Methods 90 patients with cystic lung cancer were selected. All patients underwent MSCT and pathological exam-inations,and their MSCT and pathological characteristics were analyzed. Results MSCT results:The size of lesions in 90 cases of cystic lung cancer ranged from 8.89 to 29.97 mm,with an average of(18.54±4.16)mm;The size of the capsule ranged from 5.32 to 18.67 mm,with an average of(10.21±2.08)mm.More than 50%of MSCT features were the lesions located in the right lung, with lobulated capsule boundaries, consolidation of soft tissue outside the capsule, vascular convergence sign, pleural inden-tation,septal capsule, irregular capsule morphology, single capsule, and nodules.Pathological results:Of the 90 cases of cystic lung cancer, there were 67 cases of adenocarcinoma and 23 cases of squamous cell carcinoma. In 19 cases, the surface of the cyst was covered with tumor cells,6 cases had central necrosis,19 cases had bullae within the tumor,32 cases had intratumoral bronchiec-tasis,51 cases had interstitial fibrosis or fibrous hyperplasia,71 cases had trophoblastic vessels within the tumor, and 6 cases had pleural invasion. Conclusion Cystic lung cancer is mostly adenocarcinoma, which has certain characteristics in MSCT findings. Its pathological characteristics may be related to secondary or destruction of alveolar structures, intrabronchial tumors,or lung cancer based on the cystic lumen.
