Prognostic Value of COL10A1,COLⅣ and Cry61 Expression in Patients with Rectal Cancer
Objective To explore the prognostic value of serum expression of collagen X-A1(COL10A1),collagen Ⅳ(COLⅣ)and cysteine-rich 61(Cry61)in patients with rectal cancer.Methods Clinical data of 62 patients with rectal cancer were collected.The patients were followed up to October 2023 to observe the prognosis,and were divided into poor group(n=12 cases)and good group(n=50 cases)according to whether they survived.Gender,age,lymph node metastasis,tumor stage,degree of differentiation,COL10A1,COLⅣ and Cry61 levels were compared between the two groups.To analyze the relationship between serum COL10A1,COLⅣ,Cry61 levels and clinical features in patients with rectal cancer.Results There were no significant differences in gender and age between the 2 groups(P＞0.05),but there were significant differences in lymph node metastasis,tumor stage and differentiation between the two groups(P＜0.05).The levels of COL10A1,COLⅣ and Cry61 in poor group were significantly higher than those in good group(P＜0.05).The levels of COL10A1,COLⅣ and Cry61 were not related to the gen-der and age of patients,but were related to lymph node metastasis,stage Ⅲ～Ⅳ and low differentiation.The levels of COL10A1,COLⅣ and Cry61 in patients with lymph node metastasis,stage Ⅲ～Ⅳ and low differentiation were significantly higher than those in patients without lymph node metastasis,stage Ⅰ～Ⅱ and middle and high differentiation.The difference was significant(P＜0.05).The combined detection of COL10A1,COLⅣ and Cry61 had good predictive value for the prognosis of rectal cancer,with AUC of 0.863,sensitivity and specificity of 0.917 and 0.760,respectively.The combined detection of COL10A1,COLⅣand CRY61 had better predictive efficacy than that of a single indicator.The predicted thresholds were 6.840 ng/ml,158.965 ng/ml and 481.795 ng/l,respectively.Conclusion The expression levels of COL10A1,COLⅣ and Cry61 are significantly increased in serum of patients with poor prognosis of rectal cancer.The combination of COL10A1,COLⅣ and Cry61 has a good value in evalu-ating the poor prognosis of rectal cancer.
